About BeLite:
BeLite is a class library based on the BeOS 5.0 header files, thus enabling users to (nearly) transparently compile their BeOS app under a supported platform.
BeLite is a static library implementing the functionality of the BeOS 5.0 C++ API. This enables a BeOS developer to build his application on the Win32 platform without changes to the source code.

Details about this version:
The old BeLite project used to be hosted on SourceForge, but I abandoned it due to a lack of time and external help.
I started over from scratch and am making decent progress with the "new" version. Although I do not expect to have it finished any time soon, I thought it worthwhile to post an update to this old posting.
Note that this is, until I decide otherwise, a solo project that I work on my spare time.
