About S3 driver:
S3 video card driver from Be, Inc.
This is the S3 driver from an early - possibly R3 - version of BeOS. When all other drivers have failed to get that older 1-2MB S3 Trio V64 card running, this is the one to try. I've successfully used it with every version of BeOS from 4.5.2 onward, and with cards from several different manufacturers, including the Diamond Stealth 64. Later S3 cards have built-in VESA support, and this should be used instead.
I'm posting this driver because it gets constantly requested by people who read my article on The BeBox Zone about how I got an old ASUS dual P150 machine to run the BeOS. Now you can download it directly!
Installation:
Install in /boot/home/config/add-ons/kernel/drivers/bin
Link to /boot/home/config/add-ons/app_server
Message to dumb Windows users:
