About HybridDivx:
HybridDivx supplies the most quality and compatibility for DivX and MPEG-4 that you can get in BeOS decoders. HybridDivx is superior to DivX decoder in it's picture quality for MS-MPEG V3. It is superior to the ffdecoders in it's ability to play DivX video at speed and in it's support for MS-MPEG V2. It is is superior to both in its support for new codecs such as Divx 5.0 and XviD.

Variation description:
This version has better support for MPEG4 variants such as XVID and DX50. This version has new support for Sorenson Video (SVQ1), H263, Motion JPEG (MJPG, JPEG), and Windows Media 7 (WMV1). Seeking does not work in this version. (not even in nplay)

Details about this version:
This will likely be the final version. This is a fairly cosmetic release. There is no additional functionality, just slightly enhanced ease of use. Specific changes in this version:
- Scripts are now slightly less annoying with respect to tons of alerts popping up.
- There is a slightly improved readme for the included ASFViewer.
This version supports decoding: MS-MPEG V2 [MP42], MS-MPEG V3 [MP43], DivX Low-Motion [DIV3], DivX High-Motion [DIV4], OpenDivx [DIVX], Divx 5.0 [DX50], and XviD [XVID]. It supports encoding to MP43, DIV3, and DIV4. The included ASFViewer (not a codec) can play some ASF, WMV, ASX, etc. (usually pretty slow)

License notes: I place no restrictions on the distribution or modification of this software beyond those already imposed by the files within. (for example: the libavcodec.so is LGPL).
