About bmplex:
bmplex is a BeOS port of tcmplex : it is faster and more complete than mplex2 (i think....). Comes with a GUI to make bmplex easier. Built under BeOS R5.03, with patched kernel for Athlon XP, so i can't say if bmplex will work on every computers...
