About Yale TFTPD:
yale-tftpd / Enhanced tftpd from Yale University and cisco Systems
The trivial file transfer protocol (tftp) is normally used for booting and storing configuration files for diskless workstations and arbitrary networking devices.
Standard tftpd provides very little security, and should not be enabled unless it is needed. In the case tftpd is needed the yale-tftpd server provides better control via /etc/tftpd.conf configuration file access lists.
