if you want to start a X11 app from the Be Terminal use startx &
example: startx & xterm
to start the Xbeos (full-screen) server you can use X11
changing the keymap is possible, but only with xmodmap
you can change the .Xmodmap and load it from the xterm with
xmodmap .Xmodmap
