About QEMU:
This is the BeOS port of QEMU. QEMU is a generic and open source processor emulator which achieves a good emulation speed by using dynamic translation.
Due to the limited POSIX support in BeOS, only the softmmu version of QEMU is supported. Also the COW (Copy on Write) file format is not supported. You should use QCOW (a QEMU version of COW with extra functionallity) instead. All other formats and features should be the same as on the other platforms. Performance is still very good compared to other emulators.
On BeOS BONE, QEMU supports networking through userland networking (SLIRP). On net_server networking is not supported.

Variation description:
This is the BONE version. Install this if you have BONE installed on BeOS R5 or have a newer BeOS version. Please report problems in this QEMU for BeOS forum.
Details about this version:
This is the current version of QEMU for BeOS BONE. All default systems are present which makes this a bit a larger download than usually. All emulators except the x86 one are completely untested.
The GUI code was fixed in some places, so mouse moves should work smoothly in all directions, you should not loose mouse buttons when quickly moving the mouse (which made you loose the window you were dragging for example) and entering/leaving the input grab does not cause clicks in the emulation anymore (so you can hop out while still dragging something and then reenter without loosing your object).
The QEMU accelerator module (kqemu) is included in this package. WARNING: Do not use the accelerator for emulation of Windows XP - it will reboot your system.
