About ImageMapper:
ImageMapper is an unimaginatively named little bare-bones tool
that lets you quickly create (Client Side) Image Maps for images you want to put on a web page. It will alternatively create a list of BRects
for GUI layout.
You open the image that you want to map by dragging the file onto
the 'ImageMap' icon, then drag rectangles on the displayed image
to represent the desired hot regions. When you're satisfied, you
save the result as a skeleton HTML text file. All you need to do
then is paste this into your web page and edit in the actual URLs.
You create a BRect list in the same way -- it is just saved in a
different text format.
(Note that to work on GIF images, you'll need the relevant Translator.

Around 7 years ago, I hacked together this little tool to fill a need I had at the time. It certainly lacked many useful -- even essential -- features, but I could use it.
A little while ago, I had another project -- a photo way too large for any screen, with over 200 faces that needed to be tagged! -- that really showed up the deficiencies. So here is 2.0, with somewhat less awkwardness (hopefully).
The window in this version has scrollbars, rather than fixing the size of the window to the image, and now you can read back the map text files you create for further editing.
Had a spare half-hour, so I have now compiled it for PPC as well (17 November)
