About photopc:
A command-line driven app to download images from, and do general management of, many makes and models of digital still cameras. Included xicon scripts let you avoid most of the command-line stuff.
This is a BeOS port of a program written by Eugene Crosser originally
for Linux/Unix systems that communicates well with a number of types
of digital cameras. Models reported to be compatible include Epson,
Olympus, some Nikons, Agfa, Toshiba, and Sanyo. (I find it accesses
features that even the manufacturer's supplied software doesn't!)
photopc itself is entirely command-line driven, but for BeOS I have
added some xicon scripts that manage the common operations without
you having to type much! One, for example, downloads all the thumbnails
from the camera, displays them, and allows you to choose which to
download in full.
