Over one million hits and growing! |

November 1, 1999:
Over 1,000,000 served! During the weekend of October 30th - 31st, BeBits served it's 1,000,000th hit. BeBits has only been in operation since June of this year, and to hit one million already is a sure sign that things are really happening in the BeOS world!
We would like to thank all of our users and developers that visit BeBits on a regular basis. Without application listing or anyone to look at them BeBits would have died long ago. So keep writting those applications, and keep supporting your fellow BeOS developers. BeOS is now at a critical stage of it's life and this is the time to start showing how much you truly appreciate all that this wonderful OS can do. Send some kind words to your favorite developers. Let them know that people actually use their products. Send them some money so that they can invest more time into building BeOS programs. Neither users nor developers can keep the OS alive by themselves. We have to work together--and now is a good a time as any to start!
We are proud to be members of the BeOS community, and we're excited about this most recent milestone. We're looking forward to hitting many more in our efforts to help prove to the world that BeOS actually has software!
