under the 'preferred encoding' -Tight is greyed out.
'Mouse' -Emulate 3 Buttons
'Display' - Scale by ...
Whoever fixes this, they can host the newly updated file on my server for free, and you'd be helping the BeOS community by continuing development on VNC viewer for BeOS.

A package that includes BONE and Netserver versions, as well as the source can be found here:
http://www.abstrakt.ch/be/VNCViewer-release6.zip (executables were last modified Aug 2002)
Bezip.de download (a single binary, not clear for which netstack):
http://bezip.de/app/783/ (executable was last modified Feb 2001)
VNCviewer r6 works very well here, the only problem I found was that the shortcut to get back from Full Screen (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) collided with my spicy-key shortcut to launch the Task Manager (http://bebits.com/app/432). I changed the shortcut to LeftCtrl+LeftShift+Esc and use LeftCtrl+RightShift+Esc in VNC.
