I tried to go to http://home.excite.com and it played the small Shockwave " applet" but wouldn't play the main shickwave window on the homw page. Just sat there... Saying " Unregisterd Player" loading and never would. Plus, the player doesn't seem to work
on www.nick.com, the games wouldn't work! I hope these
bugs get worked, I'd like to put Opera/Beos on my son's machine someday... but being able to play shockwave and player games are a must!...:) I hope others are havin better luck...

It's nice to have Flash for Be. But I can't get it to download .swf files 100%. Otherwise it operates just like Flash for Windows.

So, flash has finally arrived for BeOS. And it all seems to work great! No plugin support, so you can't visit Flash sites on the 'net, but what we have works great. Similar speed to a Windows box (but no apparent speedup for dual processors), and I haven't found any obvious bugs yet, even with fairly advanced flash stuff (see http://www.moonfruit.com and http://www.moveon.co.uk for some of our work).
All I can say is "at last"!
