P.S.: I took a lot of months trying to understand what was causing this malfunctioning! I had to create a totally new BeOS image file, boot into it, install each piece of software separatelly, reboot everytime, before I could understand that this driver was making all that diference.
Now, I clearly understand that everytim I have this driver active, I cannot mount floppy disks... But why? And what can I do?

I have an ES1868 soundcard and I have installed this driver. My BeOS version is R5.
When I use this driver in my computer, I have no longer access to my floppy drive. I mean, the system still shows the "mount floppy" menu entry, but it says that the filesystem is not recognized or the disk is not formatted...
does anyone know why this happens? In the device manager, there seems to be no irq/dma/... conflicts among floppy drive, soundcard, ....
I have no idea! How do I fix this up?
Thanks! Victor Domingos
